Our time in Thailand is finished. We've finally had enough. It's time to move on, so on that note we're moving. The romantic and exotic images that Westerners have of Thailand are drastically overrated. While there are some amazing things to see, for the most part Thailand has sold its soul. No longer is this a Buddhist country, but rather a cog in the vast consumer machine. Everywhere you look there's advertising for the next best thing. If you don't have the latest and greatest you're nobody. So we're moving. We were lucky that we both got jobs at the same school in Mexico - The American School of Pachuca.Pachuca is a town of about 750,000 people approximately 75 miles northeast of Mexico City. The school that we'll be working at was founded in 1921 by the American Mining Company as a school for its American employees. We're quite excited about the move, and are looking forward to another grand adventure.
We'll finish posting the pictures from our trip to Viet Nam and Cambodia, and that will end our postings regarding our travels in Asia. Any posts after that will be from Mexico and Central America.
