This past weekend we went to visit an amazing place outside of Bangkok called Muang Boran, or Ancient City. The Ancient City, like a door opened to the cultural heritage of Siam. Visitors are able to see the continuity of the history, arts, cultures, religions, thoughts as well as the beliefs of Thai talents. It shall reflect to Thai fundamentals and the varieties of the cultures on Thai territories.
Laid out in the shape of Thailand, this 320 acre park is full of amazing architecture, lush greenery, ancient museums, and startling monuments. Jan and I made the "mistake" of thinking we could walk the entire 25 kilometers in one day. Looking back it would have been better to ride the bicycles they had offered as part of the admission, or paid the extra 75 Baht to take the tram. Oh well, it was still well worth the visit.
